I’m planning my next book and I’m very excited about the concept that has taken shape. As some may know, several of the athletes I interviewed for my book told me that doing the P90X workout program was a key to their success. After the book was released, I started P90X to get back in shape myself and was blown away by the results I got. You can see the results here.
P90X is a product of Beachbody Inc., which creates and distributes a wide variety of fitness products, from various DVD programs, to supplements, to gear. While doing P90X, I was so impressed by Beachbody products, that I became a coach, which means I can distribute products and build a team of coaches to further spread the Beachbody brand.
In considering ideas for my next book, I decided to combine my interest in getting fit, inspiring others to get fit, and building a Beachbody team with the book. So here is the concept.
I am recruiting 10 people to join my Beachbody team of coaches and in the first six months of 2011, I will document their fitness journey and feature them in a book. The book will include their background information, their motivations and goals for getting fit, their plan, there journey, their diet, their workouts, their results, and some great pictures. They will aslo be able to include information about their businesses.
For those that commit to being in the book and being on my team, they will:
– Be featured in my next book that they can use to inspire others or to promote their business. The book will be available in paperback as well as for the Kindle and Nook platforms
– Get fit by doing a Beachbody program such as P90X, Insanity, or one of the other great programs. I will work with them through 1:1 and weekly team calls.
– Inspire others through publicity the team will generate at events, on Facebook and on our blog
– Start their own Beachbody coaching business, and possibly generate income before the project is over. You can find out more about what it means to be a coach here.
If you are interested please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org or message me on facebook. I’ll provide details on how to join my team and become part of the project.
I want to kick this off right after the new year, so get on board now. It turns out that Beachbody is waiving the $39 coaching initiation fee for the remainder of 2010, so you can save this by joining this year.
